Fun with screen shots(21 posts)
Not so much a messy mind as a messed up mind, aka ADHD. I find the desktop a convenient place to park files and folders I'm still working with. Because of my ADHD, they have to be in my face or they will never be dealt with (out of sight, out of mind). I'm also heavily dependent on reminders and the desktop is a good place to park them so, again, they will be in my face.
If I don't want the screen to be lit up at night, I either put it to sleep or just turn the monitor off.
At long last finally chiming in ;)
Seems I'm kinda stuck in the middle.
A few gadgets and my wallpaper is this with some variation in the pics in the middle (this is my latest pup :D).
I use rocketdock, but that is hidden now, since I like to keep things clutterfree (but nowhere near as extreme as Xhi <LOL>).
@ LF - ta :)
And not only does she look cute, she IS cute! :)))
And as a bonus she has very few accidents in the house - from about 10 weeks old she was as good as housebroken. For a terrier that is amazing!
@ LH - part one of your excuse is unacceptable for a geek!
(but I do believe part two <LOL LOL LOL>)
@ LH. I doubt your desktop couild be any more boring than Xhi's.
You might want to try MWSnap 3 to replace your PRNT SCRN. It worked quite well on my XP machines and I use it now equally well on my Win 7 machine. I like it better than the Snipping Tool in Win 7. It can take full screen shots, fixed size screen shots, or variable size screen shots. You can save as a graphic file (several formats) or put the shot on the clipboard to copy directly into a document.
