I have been looking for a keyboard shortcut to the Win 7 Task Manager …

Is … Ctrl+Shift+Esc

Is quick.

Using a mouse Right Mouse Button on the task bar and select it from there is fast enough for me...

I do it with my thumb on (all left hand) ctrl + shift then use my middle finger to hit escape.

Might as well add this one.

1. Go to your Partition which the windows is installed on that
2. Open "System 32" folder
3. Browse the window with scrollbar to find this file: "Taskmgr"
4. Right click on this file, from "send to”, choose desktop.

If I have my hand on the mouse I go to the task bar. If not I go to Ctrl+Shift+Esc.

Best ... get a beer and use the mouse!

Much of the time I'm on a computer, my right hand is on the mouse and my left hand is propping up my head so right clicking on the task bar is easier for me.

Actually I'm even lazier than most of you and I use ALL CPU METER on W7. Double click on it and it opens TM. Of course, MS now doesn't like Gadgets, but I like to see my CPU data when things slow down. I use a few from this site and a TOP 5 one as well. Doesn't load my i7-920 down at all. I do need to see how to make these work on W8 though. Was on the W7 machine upgraded to W8 and they were 'removed'. I need to work on that as soon as I get a 'round-to-it'.
