(Solved) - formatted drive cant see

formatted my usb drive with Ubuntu as fat system and can copy files to it with Ubuntu but my windows computers cant see the drive. the usb remove safe shows it but cant find it anywhere on my system. Help please

Reformat to NTFS.

didnt give me that option in Ubuntu. did use the disk management utility in windows, deleted volume and then it let me format to ntsf. didnt give a name but did assign drive. seems to be working now. copying files now.

ok! i can see drive and copy files to it and seems to be working. no i just noticed that when you mouse over folder instead of giving size of folder it just larger than ?. seems i ran across this a long time back but cant remember how to get it to show folder size.
