Hi All
Following on from my Trojan problem.
I now want to add a new user so as to keep my admistartor user safe.
However when I am setting this up it again is giving me a box that says there are issues with my computer safety.
When I click my Anti virus and firewall it is saying do a complete scan. Why is this?

When I am using my administrator log in the AV and Firewall are all fine now and working.(I hope!!!)
Confused!!!!!

Are you using the windows firewall? if not it may be just that it does not recognise your own firewall.

Hi
No I use Bullguard, and when I click Bullguard , in the new user ,this then says I have to run scans.
So maybe cause its a new user even though on the same computer ,Bullguard needs to clarify, I just wonder why its working ok on main adminstrator user but conflicting when setting up the new user.

Hi Kate, there´s nothing to worry about. I would also think it is just down to you adding a new user and Bullguard wanting to be sure that everything is ok. Run a full scan on the new user then you shouldn´t get any more pop-ups. Matt

Hi LH
What would I do without you all guiding me through.Thank you so much.
I have downloaded both those but I think Sandboxie I will have to take time to digest, but I am reassured in knowing if I get a problem one of you will be around.
As before Bless and thanks.

Hmm!!!! I start up using FF then my homepage (yahoo mail) which then has the bars across the top i.e Bookmark tool bar and then this new bar.
So I guess I should answer Yes, cause I have clicked FF

I just edited my above post.
No you don't need it. It is a Yahoo toolbar that comes along with the CCleaner installer.
Are you able to remove it ? Or would you like instructions.

Ha ! you should already know the answer!!!! Instructions please. do I then assume I would click on the link on the desktop to run CCleaner?
If I recall that bar was there when it came back from shop and I must have deleted it somehow but it also deleted the CCleaner.

Hehe :)
In FF, goto Tools > Add-ons > Extensions
Scroll down to the Yahoo entry. Right click on it and select Uninstall. Accept the uninstall pop-up
Restart FF
It should be gone :)
