In the "All Programs" list in the Vista Start Menu, the files show up first, then folders. I want the folders first, then the files, just like how it was before in XP. Besides dragging and dropping, is there any tweak or registry hack to make the folders appear first in the list? Thank You in advance.

Unfortunately no.
The way it's done probably has something to do with what the Windows Vista guidelines on the start menu say. It says that most programs should just add there program to the top level instead of a folder.
Oddly enough it does still list cases where folders should be used so I would think it might work better if the shortcuts and folders were sorted together.

If I remember (Vista is not installed on my desktop atm) You can change the order of the folders. Try going into Properties. If you can't, then I was dreaming and agree with jd2006. :P
