it seems when i save folder settings in the explorer, settings are not saved for subfolders - is there any way to save subfolder settings?

For templates there is a checkbox in the Advanced settings window (in Properties).

i would also like to ask something with regards to folders... I recently had installed a new theme, it changed all the icons. however, i already had that theme uninstalled, but the folder icons (even the subfolders and in My Computer's) remained the same. How can i restore the all the icons to its default?
