Ugh! I hate those stupid software updaters that get installed with other applications. It's bad enough to have Windows Update running all the time and AV software updates. Now, Adobe has an updater, Apple has an updater for iTunes & QuickTime, and now we have Macrovision. At least Macrovision is trying to consolidate applications, but it's not enough. There are just too many updaters -- I have uninstalled all the app updaters above and instead use Secunia's PSI to check for application updates on my schedule.

Did you delete it successfully? I have this program and it is corrupted (I read that it has some ?Active X vulnerability?) Anyways, it will not let me uninstall any programs, it has taken over my Windows uninstall program. I can't delete any applications and my windows installer box flashes all the time, saying
"unsuccessful install" or something like that.
I have not been able to remove this application -- please help!
I can't update my Adobe reader, because I can't uninstall Adobe 6 as instructed... this is the worst problem I've had.
Is there a way to quarantine this program? MacAffee doesn't recognize it as a problem...
In case you did not see that in the other thread (that you hijacked): The REVO uninstaller may do the trick http://www.revouninstaller.com/
