flash drive problems

hey guys i need help please with my 8gb flash drive.i had a viruse on it and all of a sudden it is not readable windows detects it and installs it but i cannot get into it i see it in my computer but cannot access it it says PLEASE INSERT A DISK INTO DRIVE E:.

If there is nothing on there that you want to keep, then pass it close to a strong magnet (bass speaker inside your HiFi cabinet is good), then format it.
