"Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inacessible." This is the message I receive when trying to open Firefox. Just happened suddenly. I have Uninstalled and reinstalled twice but it hasn't helped anyone know whats going on or how to fix it?

Also, since this happened my mouse is acting strangly. Single clicks are registering as double or even triple clicks sometimes. This is creating lots of problems trying to navigate in IE. Dragging across my desktop is tough too.

Whats going on?

try this
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profiles.ini_file

and run these
http://www.superantispyware.com/
http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
http://www.malwarebytes.org/

If all else fails you could try system restore, although you didn't mention what OS you have!

Having had this problem in the past I find the normal uninstall leaves quite a footprint on the machine which can be picked up on the reinstall.

Try uninstalling with thus; http://www.softpedia.com/get/T.....ller.shtml

Run it in advanced mode and do not reboot machine until complete.

Also, make regular backups with this; http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/
