Is your 'Home page' just a single page or a list of many pages?
Check here for info:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/How%20to%20set%20the%20home%20page#w_set-more-than-one-website-as-your-home-page
Basically, the 'Use Current Page' button to assign the home page becomes 'Use Current Pages' (plural) when there are more then one page (tab) open.
Chances are the last time you assigned your home page there were many pages opened, therefore assigning those pages as Home Page(s).
As Stringjunky mentioned sometimes a reinstall is quickest.
But before you do just do a recheck of your settings First make sure you are on your Homepage, and is the 'only tab open', then ..
Tools>> Options > general>
Double check. That 'show my home page' is the wording in the Box.Then double check the url is repeated underneath as in your address bar.DONT click any of the tabs underneath that says "Use current pages" "Use bookmarks etc just click OK.
Then restart, what happens?
'The settings seem fine to me' Why would that be if the problem still exists?
Pretty good idea is to use this free uninstaller: http://www.revouninstaller.com.....nload.html
After instal run the app. Select what you want to unstall. Do this in advanced mode, do not reboot until the uninstaller has finished.
Then get Firefox from here; http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/f.....pgrade-win
