My OS is W7 HP 64-bit version. Is it worth to install Firefox 64-bit version ? I have read that mozilla doesn't do much development of this version.

Thanks mike. Is there any significant improvement in browsing & downloading speeds with the palemoon 64-bit?

Seems to me that the decision would be based on the fact that the 64-bit could do something that the 32-bit version can not. If there is no evidence of some improvement then it would be a worthless exercise. I know the 64-bit version of IE9 does not have some features that are in the 32-bit version and the 32-bit version is the recommended version. Some websites do not perform properly in a 64-bit version.

If I install the palemoon 64 (just for testing), will it in any way affect my present firefox 17.0.1?

No, it is a FF derivative written purely for windows so you can run the 2 side by side without issues.

PM 64 is certainly faster and I don't get problems with download speed or video etc
