whs: I tried opening this but Powerpoint viewer 2003 can't open it. Do I need something else?
I don't use office apps much.

That is possible because it is in .pptx. I am not sure what capabilities PP Viewer 2003 has, but .pptx is a 2007 format. The 2003 extensions are only 3 letters - I believe.

Ok. I thought that had something to do with it.

Thanks Lighthouse. A little late I know, but better late than never. :-)

Still can't open that file, but oh well.

Lighthouse: Got it to work, finally. Thanks. :-) I was trying to open directly from my document
folder instead of opening PP and then open from there. In case you haven't guessed already, I'm
not the sharpest tool in the shed sometimes.

PS: Saw your post so I went looking to see if I had what you were asking me about and then thought
I would try one more time. Didn't mean to leave you hanging. :-)

How did you get it working?
BTW. That link I posted was for PPV 2007

I think it was ok all along. I wasn't using the right method of opening the file.

At least the "Fingers" served as a nice test for the PPV07. I think next time I will stick stuff into a .pdf file. It just happens to be so much easier with PowerPoint.

No worries, whs, PPV07 worked fine once dummy me figured out how to use it! I'm not quite up to speed
on office apps, but I'm getting there! Liked Fingers alot. The title had me so curious to see what it
was so I just had to figure out how to use PPV07. The cockatoo looked so real. All did for that matter.

The office applications are really fun and very, very useful. When you have a chance, you might want to get the Home and Student package which sells for about $100 in some places. I bought it in Sams Club early 07 for $130.

Actually I just remembered I already have Home and Student, just not installed. I just have to recover
it from my recovery partition.

What do use it for? Database/Spreadsheet/wordprocesser, other things?

I never liked Works, but that does not mean that it is a bad product. It just has very limited function. Here is an example what you can do with office. It is an album that I made for friends after a trip to Paris. It is all done with office 2007. The download is a zipped .pdf (I convert pictures to PDF sometimes because it is a lot less bytes). http://cid-475a0a48ca6d4035.sk.....20pics.zip
