You upgraded your Vista to 7?

If it is an OEM product key, it will not work on another system. And if you upgraded from that system, your product key is "occupied".

No, it is not possible to use the key by others. When you perform an upgrade the OEM key is cancelled and you are issued a new key by Microsoft and all these happen in the background without you knowing about it.
