If you want to clean up your Mac the easy way, CleanMyMac is a great tool to get the job done easily, and it will even keep your computer clean automatically.

Unlike the competition, it also includes great tools like a Clean Uninstaller, to get rid of applications and clean up the junk that they leave behind. All with the click of a button.

Is it possible to use Final Cut Pro within a Mac VM on a PC? If so, would there be sufficient resources to edit video?

Is there any other way to get Final Cut Pro running on a PC aside from the "Hackint0sh" method (which requires hardware modification and is arguably illegal)?

A "substitute" program like Adobe Premiere won't do, as my college teaches editing on Final Cut.

Thanks!

Get one of each. If you can afford a MAC it's not too much more to add a PC as well. Then you got it covered.

http://www.howtogeek.com/forum.....?replies=4 Did you get the Mac or PC yet, or still deciding?

@Xhi: I actually can't afford either at the moment; my current laptop has just about bit the dust, and a new laptop is a Christmas gift from my parents (they're just waiting on me to decide what I want).

@warlock: I'm still deciding. I had pretty much decided on a PC, largely due to being substantially more familiar with Windows (even though I could install Windows 7 on a Mac) and a preference for the touchpad with buttons / pointing stick on PC laptops, but I just learned about my editing classes using Final Cut, so I'll have to reevaluate.

If I do get a PC, would there any way for me to run Final Cut on it through a VM or otherwise, and if so, would there be sufficient resources in the VM to make good use of FC?
