Mornin all.
Granny back!!!!!!
FF is playing up , not holding add ons, I download them and move lists in the file and I needed to uninstall ABP as that was interfereing with Photos in My family tree site.
But next time I log in the list reverts back and ABP is back working.Doh!!

So I made a new profile but of course that is blank.
Q. How do I import my folders and extensions over ??
When I try doing it , only offers upload from IE and I want the stuff from FF.
OR should I uninstall FF completely and reinstall????How do I backup my extensions.?????

The FF forum is vague, so need your valued input please.

Brilliant.
Thought LH you would come up with something for Granny to get into. Ha!!!
Will need to digest these and take my time I think.

Take care and keep up the good work, everyone is so helpful, I love trying to work out and through the probs as you all hang in there with me.
Thank you both so much.

Tis always a pleasure helping you :)

Edit. Just to add, I use both Mozbackup, and Favbackup, and save the backups to different external drives.

Within Mozbackup. You will need to browse for something like,
C:\Users\Kate\Documents\Firefox 3.5. (en-us) - 2009-08-27.pcv
FF must be closed to restore it.

Did it!!! Thanks to you.
BUTTT!ha! isn't there always.
Cause I restored them all, I think I have inherited the problem of FF dropping again.
So am I right that I need to delete this one I just made and remake another profile?
and this time select each bookmark individually? checking to make sure FF doesnt fall out.
I assume it to be a plugin so instead of transferring those I will have to download them again individually, which is a real pain!!!!

Start with the plugins and addons. Disable all but 1. Restart FF. Keep enabling the 1 by 1 until you find the rogue.
(you can also use the 50% method to narrow it down).

It's where you disable half of 'em. If they all work OK, disable half of the next half, etc. Process of elimination.
