1. Turn On Verbose Mode :
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System] Add dword value "verbosestatus" = 1

2. Reboot

3. After Login, Wait for "Preparing Your Desktop" message to display and Press ESCAPE, your desktop should appear 1 second after pressing ESCAPE.

where do i put this HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System...i have no idea..

Actually the mistake you are making here is that you are chnaging the verbose error options

When an OS starts, you login, it authenticates you, then continues to load the OS in the background. The big mistake is that people crash the machine thinking that that when the desktop appears the OS is loaded. By playing around with verbose logging you are primarily removing the "Last known good configuration" option and opening the user into a false sense that the Os is loading quicker
