The command when you copy from a Windows8 is:

bcdboot F:\windows /s F: /f ALL

The command when you copy from a Windows7 is:

bcdboot F:\windows /s F:

F is the VHD

Tried this command bcdboot K:\windows /s K: /v and got the error message

Raphoenix: I followed your suggestions and still windows 8 is not booting when I restart the machine.

Sure Raphoenix. Awaiting to know your findings.

Installed EasyBCD tool and still no success with the availability of VHD in the boot.
