I am a disabled Vet. An play a lot of games on pogo(keeps me from staring at TV all day) When I sign in 2 pogo an go 2 play a game a white screen comes up an in upper left corner it has "facebook.com/plugins/.php?api-key=294400680281&channel-urlhttp%3a%2F%2 Fstatic.facebook.com%2fconn" an that is all it will do. can't seem to close or block it....Will someone please give me some help.TKS Semper Fi 2 all Marines out there

Hi Gem welcome to HTG,

i have been playing pongo too haven't played in a while but i think what you are seeing is a plug in for facebook for you to join mine goes away a few minutes but if it presist i would reconmmend running this http://www.superantispyware.com/index.html download the free verson or try this http://download.cnet.com/Malwa.....tag=button it's nice to have you here on the site. Edit, it might be a active x plugin trying to entice you to join too.

Does an adblocking programme have no function against this ?

yes, if you click the stop sign for ABP then you can click the easy create filter then click any element of a webpage or pop-up and you can have it blocked for good.

GS, no afraid not since pogo is mainly a ad drivened site the adblocking practice will block some of the graphics of the game that you are playing some games do some don't but even on the ones that do pogo puts up a warning to turn on the adblocker anyway so you can't win for loosing.

I tried ad block(I think I did it right, not very good with computers)didn't do anything. I even tried canceling my facebook acc. nothing It still pops up. Tks 4 your time, an any more info help.Tks again

I tried to recreate your problem. But I don't get the pop-up. Are you signing into pogo using your facebook account?

Edit: I was able to recreate your problem when I signed in using facebook. A separate window opened then closed a few seconds later.
