Like soccer, I'm afraid it's a bit of a losing battle.
There will always be diehard, hardcore fans that attend races,
but it's unlikely to catch on with mainstream America.There is
a race in Canada as you know, even a Canadian F1 champion
(or two) but it pales in comparison to even a sport like curling.
So, can we support two races? Maybe one. We need an American
driver and or team for sure.

I recognize many of these names but beyond Mario no one had a great career
and certainly no one these last couple of decades amounted to anything.
Saw a documentary recently about Dan Gourney. He fabricated his own parts
stateside, took them to Belgium, assembled the car and won Spa. 'Twas a great story.
