lol

maybe the fact that it's called collegehumor.com might say a lot about the site?
I enjoyed it at any rate - if a little silly, but the point it is trying to make is a good one!

I probably should have mentioned that it's a parody of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, making fun of Facebook.
I assumed that was obvoius but forgot that some users have not watched any television in the last 50 years or so, thus making that a bad assumption :D

Facebook is a social networking site like Myspace, Digg, YouTube, Twitter and others.
It started out as a site for people in colleges to have an online community to blog, share videos, etc. but a few years ago it opened up registration to allow anyone to use it.
The video is making fun of some of the many silly things about Social Networking sites like Facebook.

Social Networking is the need of the day (at least for 'youngsters')

edit: Sometimes I think that HTG is a Social Networking platform for all the Geeks and the 'Geeksters' (young geeks) !

LH, I am with you. I never looked at this stuff either. But this thread is very educational - at least now I know what I don't want to look at.
jd, I do watch TV (about 50 commercial free channels in Europe). I just don't watch commercial TV or stations that constantly do "fund drives" - and in the US, that leaves C-Span and the local channel of our county as only options. And for that, it is not worth paying $50 per month.
