I'm working with DOS 5.0, I want to have a compressed directory on a floppy and expand it to memory. First I need to know how to compress a directory so that it can be used with DOS5, Then I need to know how to get it into memory. I don't know if this possible, I'm just tinkering. Thanks for any help.

Maybe a ramdrive will help. It really depends on what the uncompressed files are supposed to do.

it would be a game, Duke Nukem or DOOM or the like, something i can put on the floppy, but only if its compressed.
