One of the big complaints I had with Vista I am now seeing in Windows 7. After I get my taskbar setup just like i like it, it disappears the next time I boot. I have tried different registry entries, group policies and it still has a lapse in memory and forget is all.

I have seen postings all over the internet but have not been able to find a fix to this issue.

Thanks!

tjernagel, hello. What is is that disappears on a restart -- the taskbar itself, the icons on it, or something else?

Why is this thread marked "Solved" when the OP never responded?
