same here but only in the last couple days...I have narrowed it down to my internet connection being disrupted...We have underground cables here and flooding not a good combo.....Don't know why but when the ground here gets super saturated this happens on many sites for me... Its like what I enter on my end is not what ends up at the other .....Hows that for being super untechnical LOL

I've just found and fixed the problem that caused the login prompt.

There's still a rate limiter that prevents posting more than once every 30 seconds.

Yeah, double-clicking the send post button would probably trigger it sometimes.

I have seen that occasionally in the past when trying to post too quickly
However, not much in the last couple of days

EDIT: - Now the password prompt does not pop up
Instead you just get the BBPress error message
