empty partitions

I have 2 empty partitions, can i just delete them and would the memory on them be allocated back to c drive. please help

I don't know if I'm right about this but I was doing some repartitioning lately so this could be the answer:

Control Panel>System and Maintenance>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Storage

Then right click your C: drive and click Extend volume. If your empty partitions are unallocated, then they should be able to go to your C: drive... correct me anyone if I'm wrong.

krsn89, thanks for your reply, i am afraid the option to extend volume is greyed out, the other partitions show a remove option. Perhaps somebody may have a solution. Regards lollypop

I've experimented with that a bit. If you shrink a volume and you are left with an empty partition, it can only be reinserted into the original volume. Maybe that is your problem?
