Your email newsletters are virtually useless to me because NONE on the links will open in any browser. I get an "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" error on every link that goes to http://clicks.aweber.com/

Why is this, and what can I do to make the links work?

Yes, I have tried deleting cookies and all browsing history. It appears to me that the links should not kick to clicks.aweber.com, but not sure. Or it is because the links go through that click tracking web site by design of the howtogeeks web page, in which case I will just unsubscribe and say to hell with How-To-Geeks.

I found the answer. It is because I use a hosts list which includes:
127.0.0.1 analytics.aweber.com
127.0.0.1 clicks.aweber.com

I don't want to have my activities tracked in this manner, so I will just unsubscribe to the newsletter due to unauthorised invasion of privacy.

i'm sorry, but that's ridiculous. We track the clicks in the newsletter to see what articles people find the most interesting, which helps us write better articles.
