email error message

when trying to click on link on certain sites in order to send them an email I get "Could not perform this operation because the default client's not properly installed". is this a Comcast issue (my ISP)or can I take care of it myself? Thanks!!!

@sandybell Welcome to HTG!

The error is because there is not email application installed in your PC. The easiest way will be to copy the email address and send it from your Gmail or Yahoo mail.
If you want to use email application then you may consider Microsoft Outlook which comes with Office package. However you may consider free application like Mozilla Thunderbird and configure your mail as given here.
