Easylife...For all programmers !!!!
(3 posts)The IT tech for my department (Supply; I was in Warehousing) at the company I retired from was just as bad. When he was RIFed (with lucrative retirement package...mutter, mutter, mumble, mumble), we found out he had been having his high school sons doing his programming for him. This was the same moron who said a material material locator system was impossible, even though I showed how the U.S. Army and Westinghouse had been using similar systems for over decade (and if the Army could make one work, anyone could). Shortly after he left, we had a primitive one in place. My supervisor and I immediately worked out a way to get a secondary location in the one field we had been provided. It became far more sophisticated within a couple of years. Pretty good for something that was impossible.
