If I use Easy Transfer to move email, files ,etc from my Vista Notebook to a new Windows 7 Desktop, are they physically moved or simply copied?

Hi Rrodd,

Welcome to HTG:)
Just did this myself today. The files are copied, not moved.
In my case I used an USB stick to transfer the files to and they are collected in a single mig file, which can be used to transfer them to the other pc / new OS.
But I saw the notice pop up that when you use a cable to connect boths pc's, files are just copied too. Not moved.

Cheers,
Sarah.
