Recommended: Clean Your Mac the Easy Way with CleanMyMac 3

If you want to clean up your Mac the easy way, CleanMyMac is a great tool to get the job done easily, and it will even keep your computer clean automatically.

Unlike the competition, it also includes great tools like a Clean Uninstaller, to get rid of applications and clean up the junk that they leave behind. All with the click of a button.

I tried to see if the Ease of Access would be something I might want to use and clicked on the option to highlight my documents, etc. I didn't care for it because it turned my backgrounds black and now some of the icons and links are hidden. I can't navigate as well as I used to, so I tried to turn the option off. It won't go away!! Please help!

Hi Joyce. Welcome to HTG.

In Ease of Access>Make Computer easier to see>Choose a High Contrast color scheme
is Windows Aero selected? If not, select it and click apply.

Are you back to normal?
