Well, what'd you do to it? Or what did somebody do to it? Anything "automatically" downloaded overnight, or "accidentally" spilled on/in it? And in order to help you "forcefully" open it, tell us what "it" is. (i.e. brand and model would help). They come apart a little differently sometimes.
