Is this even an UEFI machine? I assume it is because of windows 8
I see that there are no mentions of bios changes. For instance, did you have to turn secure boot off?
What boot mode was the machine in when you did this install? (UEFI, CSM, ???)

I have been doing a lot of research on this matter, and there are a lot of issues that arise based on just these 3 questions. When I first read this article, I thought it was going to be easy to set up, but the more I ready about UEFI....
