Hi i have got windows 2000 in my old laptop so i recently installed xp dual boot aswell but after a few days, when i select xp from the bbot screen it comes up an error message saying, "Windows 200 could not start because the following file is midding or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEMd startup options for Windows 200"
I get that message even though i selected xp and windows 200 works,

Does anyone know how i can solve this problem? And also i would like to delete all windows 2000 and install a new xp, how do i do that?

Please help

To fully install XP:

1. Insert your XP CD
2. "Press any key to boot from CD..." <- do that
3. Follow onscreen instructions
4. At the screen with the partitions, press D, Enter, L (or it could be D, L, Enter)
5. Format NTFS (not the Quick option)
