I just bought a new Compaq computer with Vista installed. I pulled my old 80 gig HD out of my old compaq and installed it in the new compaq as a secondary drive. I then formatted the drive using Vista. After the format I put my Win XP cd into the drive (I have the cd key written on it so I never forget it)and it went through the paces of installing XP on my newly formatted drive. The installation went w/o a hitch. The only problem is xp does not have all the necessary drivers i.e. network card (can't access internet), video card etc. How do I obtain the drivers? When I start the computer and the "Compaq" boot screen appears all I have to do is hit the "Esc" key to access the boot menu and and I can choose which OS I want to run.
