Hi i am running windows vista, i have a driver problem every now and then my screen will go blank, and i get the message down in the bottom right that the driver has recovered from a problem, sometimes it knocks pc completely off this is very frustrating any help would be grateful many thanks sue .

Hi Sue. We need a little more information. What is the exact make and model of your machine ?
Does it mention which driver ?

Model too please. Or if you have the Service Tag code (it will be on a sticker either on the back or underneath, depending on whether it's a desktop or laptop) post that here.

What you sent before was not the Service Tag code. On my 2 Dells it is on a long, thin, white sticker, that says Service Tag, followed by a 7 number/letter code. That is what I am wanting to see. It points me directly to your Model on the Dell site.

Restart the computer and keep tapping the F2 key as soon as it restarts (that takes you into the BIOS). Have a look everywhere in there for it.

OK. try again using the Esc key. If that doesn't work try again with the Delete (Del) key.

No i didnt buy the computer new i had it made for me, but ive found a bit more information
