(2 posts)Rich888, hello. To convert a bandwidth number (kbps) to download speed (KB/s), divide by 9 for a rough estimate. So, a 128 kbps connection should provide roughly 14.2 KB/s when downloading. Depending on how the connection is shared, you may see slower throughput when both connections are in use. Also, wireless could mean 802.11x wi-fi or cellular modem.
