Hello Geeks. Over the past coup;e of weeks my pc has been powering down after a period of inactivity, but when i push the power button it doesn't actually boot up but opens at the web page i was on. Is this normal? The mobo is an ASUS M4A87TD/USB3, processor AMD Phenom 2 X4 955. Regards.

Sounds like it is going into Sleep, or Hibernate, mode.

LH. The pc doesn't power off when i'm actually using it, only when i leave it alone for a while. I can;t see it being a overheating problem as i have two big fans cooling the pcu ect.

Many of us here are old too, don't you know :) But combined, we can conquer the world. (or maybe just have a mug of cocoa and go to bed)

Also, a shot of rum in the cocoa helps but, would never do that myself. I already forgot I said that:)
