I have accessed a website in which it was requested that I hold Ctrl while clicking on various separated items in a scroll list. When I press Ctrl once and try to click on an item, a new IE webpage opens and none of the items are selected on the webpage list except the one selected by simplying click on it. Why? Is there a setting that needs to be changed? Help! Thanks.

Disabled Ctrl + mouse click to select items from list on webpage using IE v7.0
(4 posts)www.macys.com. The particular page is password protected as it is the area in which you apply for a position with Macys. It looks to me like an access type database in which multiple items are listed with instructions to hold ctrl while choosing various items regarding employment history.
OK, I can get to this page http://macyscorporatejobs.wfre.....ublished=1
and hold CTRL, select multiple entries without any new windows opening.
Can you try reseting the IE tab settings to default, or a different browser entirely?
