Hi
I think that the new Windows Explorer in windows 7 is really annoying and want to disable it. Is that possible?

It is not possible to disable Windows Explorer.
Do you get a message that says "Windows Explorer stopped working"? If yes then it is a known issue and there is no permanent fix for it. Even in Vista it had similar error and after the release of its service pack this error stopped.
If there is any other solution, I am sure some one should post here.

Please do not try those registry fixes for the Windows Explorer Stopped working error. It had resulted in complete OS reinstall. These steps was tried in 2 different machines and both failed and had to reinstall the OS. :(
