Digital Picture Date !

Dose any one know a software to in-print the date on the picture,
from ("Date Picture Taken" information on picture properties)

Please Help !

1. What OS do you have?
2. Why do want to do that? Usually it is best to not have the date and time stamped to the picture as it doesn't look nice and isn't needed as the date and time are stored in the picture information.

@jd, this may be an industrial application or e.g. pictures from a surveillance camera.
Nevertheless, seems to me, that you first have to be able to extract the date from the XMP metadata. There are some utilities like that one around: http://www.exiv2.org/ Once you have the data, it should not be too difficult to get it into the picture. Depends what level of "Automation" you are looking for.

If using windows, you can download a great freeware application Faststone Image Viewer. One of the capabilities is ability to place the picture date onto the picture file; you can then print it.

Great idea, mercury52, Fasttstone makes good products. I use also Faststone Capture, works great. Why did I not think of that especially as I have the said program installed myself?
