(33 posts)yah i clicked restore and this black page comes up. on the top in blue it says www.dell.com and below it it says loading PBR for descriptor 1... done
loading DRMK version 8.00..
its been like that for 30 minutes now
The usual doesn't apply to every machine. On mine it says Presario(C:)and Presario RP (D:).The C drive is where all my stuff is,wheras the D drive is my recovery partition.Do you have a recovery disc,?you should have if you bought it new.Be even better if you had a full version of Win XP.
i didnt get a recovery disc with my computer and i didnt get a version of windows XP on a disc. im just gonna let it run because before it went into this "mode" it told me not to manually shut down the computer. im just gonna wait it out and see what happens. if any1 knows what is taking DRMk version 8 so long to load someone just post.
alright guys, i want to fix my DRMK problem with this website, http://www.goodells.net/dellrestore/fixes.htm it tells me to make a data cd with all the information you download from them, so i did that. next it tells you to run the cd, blah blah blah so i did that. then the A script and type "ptedit" the thing about that is my computer isnt allowing me to type that. someone please tell me whats going on please
