I noticed this subject posted by Janie while browsing HTG today. Now I happen to save a number of my Thunderbird emails in Documents especially when making on-line purchases and so I thought I'd check this problem out for myself. True enough, when you right click on the 'saved email' there is no 'delete' in the menu. I didn't fancy using the 'open with live mail method' and messed around for a bit and found that if you right click on the offending email and select 'move to folder' and move the email to the 'Desktop' you can right click it there and delete without any problem.
I know the problem has already been solved for Janie but perhaps this other method may also be of use.
Regards to all at HTG.
