Defrag Won't Work

I click on Disk Defragmenter and when the security box appears i click on continue and nothing happens.
I have also tried to run it manually with C:\Windows\system32>defrag -c -v and defrag c: -v -w, but neither of these work. Also i have tried to run it by right clicking on each of the drives and going thru the properties and tools but the same thing happens, the security window appears, click on continue and nothing happens.
When I try the 1st C:\windows etc., it comes up with the error of Windows can not find C:\Windows \system32>defrag. Make sure you type the name correctly and then try again.
I have search to download it again, but i have had no joy.

What can i do to fix this problem???

Welcome to HTG ,

Have you tried this : http://www.filehippo.com/download_defraggler/

It's better than standard defrag, incidentally if you're using an SSD DO NOT DEFRAG.
