I have several printers on my home network. two HP wireless and 1 Brother hardwired into my computer. I constantly have to change the default printer back to the Brother, it keeps changing to the HP printers automaticly so i end up wasting special paper which is on my HPs. Any help?

EdGeiger,

Check MSCONFIG and see if any HP startup printer programs are checked marked to start automatically.

EDIT: Normally that will be for HP 4in1 printers.

Kindest Regards,

Hi EdGeiger, welcome to the forum:)

Can you tell us a bit more?
What programs do you use when it get's switched back?
Where have you set the default printer? In the program, when you are about to print, or by means of the Control Panel?

Cheers,
Sarah.
