If you want to clean up your Mac the easy way, CleanMyMac is a great tool to get the job done easily, and it will even keep your computer clean automatically.

Unlike the competition, it also includes great tools like a Clean Uninstaller, to get rid of applications and clean up the junk that they leave behind. All with the click of a button.

Is there any way to change the default position of new desktop shortcut icons, which show up in the upper left of the screen until they are moved? I don't leave anything on my desktop but gadgets now, but that corner is where I like my weather gadget, and when a new shortcut gets sent to the desktop before I drag it somewhere else, it shows up behind that and I have to click in just the right position to get it out.

I'd like to make new shortcuts show up in the lower left corner, just above the taskbar. It doesn't come up often enough to justify running any software to do it, but if Win 7 can be tweaked this way, I'd love to know.
