I seem to remember being able to right-click a hard drive, go to Properties and then Tools and see when the last defragmentation was run (well, at least run from that window). Admittedly, I might be flashing back to Win98 but I'd like to know if there's any way to know when the Defrag was last run. Preferably by reading registry string or such.

Ideas?

For that matter, if anyone knows how to pull the "last run" date of, well, just about anything, I'd be glad to add it to the list.

In Vista it's easy. You just type "disk defragmenter" into the start/search field and it tells you. In XP I don't know. That's too old.
