I got a new Mac and want to protect my Mac well. I just wonder what kind of antivirus software or other data protection software should I get. I have important data in my Mac so some suggestions, please.

What do yuo mean by 'data protection'? Can you please elaborate?
There's FireVault, if you're using Lion, it's built in...
