D drive is full
(5 posts)Well, you won't be able to enlarge that partition without commercial software or using gparted. The problem is that you can shrink your C drive, but you can't move a partition's position with the built-in software, which would be required.
Your better option would be to remove some of the files on the partition. There's no way you'd need that much space for a restore.
Hmm, is the D:\ partition a regular FAT32 or NTFS partition? It may have a different type of partition that may be proprietary to the backup program that Dell uses. Verify that first. If so, you could mess up your computer from doing the backup or not booting at all. Contact Dell support if you can first.
