I am new here and just downloaded the crossloop remote. But I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. The sample shows the box that comes up with tabs that say Join/Host where as the box that does come up says Access/Share . I give my husband the number to type in and it just keeps looking for a connection..Am I on the wrong box and if so, how do I get to the Join/Host box? Both comps have downloaded the program. Help!

tackylady1, hello. An older version of CrossLoop used the "Join" and "Host" tabs. If there is a sample image on this site showing that, then it is out of date. The latest CrossLoop software uses "Access" and "Share" instead. See The Geek's article on CrossLoop for a proper screen shot:
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto.....op-client/

The procedure is: give hubby the Access Code on your Share tab. He types the number into the Access Code box on his Access tab. Both of you click the "Connect" button on your screens. Does that work? If not, try the help at CrossLoop or post back and we'll try something else.

It sounds like you might be looking for Remote Access software which Crossloop is not really designed for.
Crossloop is designed for two parties to connect where one person fixes the other persons computer.
If you want Remote Access software where you can connect to another computer from a Remote Location then you should try something like LogMeIn.

Thank you for the help. The problem was that only one of us clicked connect and the other one waited for something to show up..When we both clicked connect, it worked good. Now I can help my sister by fixing her comp for her...Thanks again guys!!!
