Creating a recovery disk

Your suggestion for creating a recovery disk does not work for me. The downloaded iso file is a "torrent" file which the image burner program you suggested I download does not support!
HELP!!

A torrent file isn't the .iso. you open the torrent file with a torrent client (like bittorrent or my favourite uTorrent) and the client downloads the .iso for you. The torrent file is, simply put, instructions as to where to find the parts of the .iso for the client.
