Whats the difference between Crawling and Indexing ? Please explain me in easy way. Thanks!

According to Wikipedia, "automatic indexing" is another name for web crawling:

There is also an article on Web Index in relation to search engines:

I'm not sure which usage you are interested in and, not being familiar with this technology, I can't explain it any easier.
